Caramel Apple Baked Oats

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it a million times, I love baked oats! There’s so many flavour combinations that are possible thanks to different flavour yoghurt and extras. I decided to go seasonal with them today and I forgot how much I liked cooked apple! My syns will differ from what yours should because I am a Slimming World rebel and I disagree with certain things.


  • 40g Oats (HexB)
  • 3/4 of a Muller Light smooth caramel yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp of sweetener (I don’t syn this)
  • 1 egg
  • 25g of apple, diced (half a syn)

Method (makes 4)

This really couldn’t be any simpler, add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Separate the mix into 4 silicone cupcake cases and pop in the oven at 180° for around half hour or until the tops have gone a golden brown. Serve and enjoy when cooled slightly.

I use silicone cases because these stick and are a bugger to remove from anything else!

I don’t syn sweetener and I also don’t like synning cooked fruit, especially so little, 25g isn’t even quarter of a small apple! In my eyes these are Syn free but in Slimming World’s eyes they’re 1.5 syns but you can decide how you want to syn them.
